Putney Community Center Needs You!

PCS Book Fair
The Book Fair returns to PCS on Tuesday April 15th. It will be open during regular school hours (with the exception of Library class times), as well as after school on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday until 5pm.
This event raises funds for the purchase of new books for the library.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Marionette show to benefit the PCS garden program, and thanks also to those who donated baked goods. We raised $500 for the PCS garden!

Annual Spring Bike Sale
The Brattleboro Recreation & Parks Department will hold their annual spring bike sale on Saturday, April 18th at the Living Memorial Park Skating Rink in Brattleboro. If you wish to sell items, bring them in between 10:00-11:00. The sale will be held from 11:00 to noon. Items not sold must be picked up between 12:00-12:30. The sale will be held rain or shine. Items for sale will include: bikes, cleats, baseball gloves, roller blades, lacrosse equipment and tennis rackets. Participants will receive 80% of the selling price of their items, and the Recreation & Parks Department will receive 20%. Attention Parents of 8th graders bound for BUHS in the fall: Please return the ‘Initial Registration Form’ that was given to your child last week. This is the last form needed to fully register your child for BUHS.
Putney Recreation League News
Baseball and Softball sign-ups and clinics will be held in the PCS gym on the following Saturdays: April 4th and April 11th. Please bring a glove and dry sneakers. Co-ed Baseball Sign-ups for grades 1, 2, and 3 will be held from 9:00-10:00. Softball and Baseball sign-ups for grades 4, 5, and 6 will be held from 10:15 to 11:15. Call Amy Newton, Baseball/Softball Coordinator at 387-6074 with any questions.

Marionettes Come to PCS
On Friday, March 27th PCS will host a Marionette Show to benefit the school garden program. The performance will begin at 7:00 in the gym. There will be a bake sale at the performance.
