Both of the preschools at PCS will be closed on Monday, February 16th for President’s Day. They will also be closed on Friday, February 20th for an inservice.

The PCS Preschool will host a Winter Open House this Saturday, January 31st from 9:30 to 10:30. Join in a few fun activities, tour the preschool rooms and enjoy a yummy snack! For more information, contact Kerri Beebe, Education Specialist, at 254-3742, ext. 127.

Girls on the Run©
Girls on the Run© is a life-changing, experiential learning program for girls age 8 to 13. The program combines training for a 3.1 mile run/walk event with self-esteem enhancing, uplifting workouts. The goals of the program are to encourage positive emotional, social, mental, spiritual and physical development. The program usually runs two afternoons a week. Putney Central School does not have coaches yet for this spring Girls on the Run Program and the first training is Tuesday (tomorrow!) The Brattleboro training is Tuesday from 1-5pm at the Holiday Inn Express. There are other times in different locations if you miss this one.
Anyone interested in coaching should contact Chaille Blais (802-246-1476 / chaille@girlsontherunvermont.org) to find out more about the commitment and the program.
